2024-25 Executive Board
Our board is made up of a diverse group of parents who all share the desire to serve Washington Woods families, students, and faculty. The Executive board meets once a month to discuss needs, financials, and upcoming events. Our long term goal is to leave a legacy that is well organized and easy to navigate to allow parents to transition in and out with ease. If you are interested in learning a board position (no commitment necessary), please email Washingtonwoodspto@gmail.com with your areas of interest, no experience needed.
PRESIDENT
Justine McFall
Hi! My name is Justine McFall and I am excited to begin my 2nd year as PTO President! I’ve been involved with the WWES PTO since our family moved to Westfield in 2020. I throughly enjoy getting to know all of the students, families, and staff that walk through the doors of Washington Woods. My hope is that everyone feels welcome to volunteer, share their ideas, and be a part of the amazing PTO community that we have at Woods.
My husband, Tyler, and I have 4 children; Graysen, 10, in 5th grade at WIS, Emmett, 9, in 4th grade, Owyen, 7, in 2nd grade, and Rosealie, 5, who will be starting Kindergarten! Tyler is the co-owner of a local pest control company, Vermission, and we both currently drive school buses for WWS! When I’m not working or at a school event, you can find me at the ballpark cheering on my baseball players or at the dance studio with my favorite dancers.
Tyler and I are actively involved in various volunteer roles throughout the Westfield community, so if you see us around, say "Hello!" I’m always down for great times, great food, and great friends. GO ROCKS!
CO VICE PRESIDENT
Laurenlee Tritle
My name is Laurenlee Tritle and our family of 5 live in the Crestview neighborhood. Charlotte is going in to 4th, Grant in to 2nd, and Tessa in to 1st. We keep things real and believe that a conversation can solve most problems. If you want to be a part of something great, just show up. I look forward to serving for the third year on the Woods PTO!
CO VICE PRESIDENT
Courtney Drummond
I have been involved in the PTO since 2019, when my oldest was in 1st grade. The past 3 school years, I have co-chaired the Fun Run with Krystal. Last school year, I co-chaired the silent auction with Taylor, and jumped into any volunteer opportunity I could , as to learn from these incredible ladies all the ins and outs of our WWES PTO. I have been a respiratory therapist for 14 years, and currently love working part time. My husband, Matt, and I have been married 14 years. We moved to Westfield in 2011 with the intention of raising our family here. Our oldest, Ryne, is going into 6th grade, he plays soccer and is looking forward to playing trumpet in the WIS band this year. Our twins are going into 3nd grade. Calvin is a talented dancer, and Theo is a talented artist who also plays soccer. Our youngest, Myles, starts kindergarten this year, he also enjoys dance and all things performance. Our family is committed to contributing to our Westfield community and look forward to a great school year.
SECRETARY
Krystal Spahr
Hi! My name is Krystal Spahr and I am excited to start my fourth year on the PTO board! This year I will be continuing on as secretary and helping with teacher appreciation events, fun run and scholastic book fair events.
I graduated from Michigan State University and am currently working as a pharmacy technician at Costco. I love reading, watching movies, and playing putt putt! We have a cat named Cheesy. My kiddos, Avery and Keira, will be going into 4th grade this year! We are sad to have this be our last year at Washington Woods!
CO TREASURER
Sarah Lowery
Hi! My name is Sarah Lowery, and this is my 4th year on the PTO board as a Co- Treasurer! I work in revenue for a government agency. My husband, Shane, and I have lived in Westfield since 2017. We have 3 kids: Our twins, Matt and Eli, are 6th graders at Westfield Intermediate. Ben is a 4th grader here at Washington Woods. All 3 enjoy playing soccer and video games, and Ben also plays baseball!I love boy bands, reading, the beach, and puppies (we have a pug named Evie). As a family, we love swimming and going to baseball games. It’s bittersweet that it’s our final year at Woods - we have loved our time here and will miss it! Looking forward to a great year!
CO TREASURER
Amanda Malik
My name is Amanda Malik, and I’m returning for a second year as a PTO treasurer. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 16 years and are the proud parents of three 3rd graders — Madeline, Cecelia, and Graham. Yes, they are triplets. Yes, the girls are identical. And yes, our life is the best kind of crazy. I work as the chief financial officer for a small agricultural construction company and spend any free time I can find reading, working in my pollinator garden, and hiking with my family, including our dog, Birdie. Our family feels so lucky to be part of WWES, and so much of what makes our school special is the extra community created by the PTO. From Fall Festival to Book Fairy to the Spring Fling, all of the work put in by the PTO makes special childhood moments for our kids. And I’m proud to keep those traditions alive and accessible for all of our Woods families.
HOSPITALITY
Taylor Drummond
Hi, I'm Taylor Drummond! Since 2022, I've been active in the PTO, helping out with teacher appreciation, the fun run, and the silent auction. My husband, Scott and I grew up here in Westfield and went to Westfield schools. Now, I'm a project manager for a medical software company.
We have two amazing boys: Henry, who's 8 and attends Washington Woods, and Jack, who's 3 and starting at Virginia F. Woods Early Learning Center this year. Our family loves spending time together, especially swimming and visiting Disney World whenever we get the chance.
